Logical Architecture
A modern retail technology ecosystem – on the left, a rugged handheld POS device and any auxiliary system platforms connect seamlessly via API docking to a centralized cloud platform. The cloud platform acts as the control hub, emphasizing real-time management.
From the cloud, connectivity flows through the internet to two parallel pathways. The first leads upward to a sleek, circular gateway device with soft LED lighting, which communicates via BLE to a cluster of in-store IoT devices. These include electronic shelf labels, a warehouse warning light, temperature and humidity sensors, and a compact mmWave radar unit—grouped together to represent smart store automation.
The second pathway extends downward to a high-performance router with multiple antennas, distributing Wi-Fi connectivity to LCD electronic shelf labels displayed on modern digital price stands. These screens show dynamic pricing and promotional content, reinforcing real-time updates.
